Default ‘It Could Happen to You’ - High-Def Digest Review

Nate has reviewed ‘It Could Happen to You.’ Let's just say he didn't feel as if he'd won the lottery with this one. This Blu-ray is a mess, with ugly video, average audio, and no extras. This one if a gamble at best.

I always liked this movie. Its too bad that the video quality isn't the greatest. I guess I'll wait until I find this one for $10 of less.

It's too bad Sony did such a lousy job of this blu-ray, as my wife and I rather like this film and I surely would have considered replacing my dvd if this title showed up at an attractive sale price. But it sounds like Sony just filled up that BD50 with a bunch of high def video noise and artifacts, unfortunately. Maybe the available source print was just beyond help.

I agree. I would like to replace my DVD, but probably won't now unless it's $10 max.

My wife and I like this one too. I expect better from BD and will wait until its cheap or I find it at the local second hand store.

Really...There is no excuse for not remastering films that need it for BD. This seems like just a cash grad.

Especially when that particular studio has so much personally invested in the growth of the format!

Yeah, I always like this movie as well. Sure, it's completely rote and the typical Saturday afternoon TBS offering, but it's easy to watch.

And that's why I won't be picking it up - will most-likely be TBS next weekend if I felt the need to watch it again.

I'll cross this off my purchase list for now and will Netflix instead.

A might disheartening about the PQ, as this is one of my guilty pleasures from the 90's....at least Fonda's other recent BD entry, 'Point of No Return' appears to have fared better on the PQ front.

Agree with Nate's review 100%, the disc is pretty off on all accounts.

Fans of the film may want to wait until the price dips before upgrading.
