Default Anyone heard of a possible re release of 'Quantum Of Solace'??

I was at BB yesterday and I was looking at QOS and pondering whether to get it now or wait and a BB employee walked up next to me and said ''If I were you, I would wait for the re release in the fall''. First, I was thinking your not suppose to talk me out of a sale dude, lol. Then I asked him about this re release and he told me it is suppose to have more extensive bonus features and it may be an extended version of the flick. He also told me that the re release of Casino Royale and the soon to be re release of QOS would also come in a bundle pack to be released in the fall as well. Has anyone else heard of this?? Do you think a re release of QOS will happen this fall?? I also asked the sales guy if he knew if The Dark Knight will see a re release in the fall and he told me he has not heard anything about that. Anybody heard anything about this??

Thanks for all responses!

Which would make it the 3rd re-release of Casino Royale, if I'm not mistaken.

IDK

Casino Royale will never be bundled with another James Bond flick because Sony owns the rights to it and MGM owns the rights to the others. There could be some potential for a re release, but i highly doubt it and i doubt it would come out six months later, if there is one it will come out around the time of Bond 23 similar to the Casino Royale re release,

Extended version? Is it cut from the theater release? Casino Royale was cut for rating of various countries, I hadn't heard anything about QoS being cut differently. Perhaps he meant deleted scenes?

I do believe that a more proper SE of QUANTUM will be released, but not until the next Bond feature comes out in theaters. At this point, that may not be until fall 2011. I bought QoS as part of a BB-exclusive bundle with the as-yet-unreleased BDs of THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN and LICENSE TO KILL (both of which were well produced) so I don't feel like a screwed myself. I just hope that the eventual second release of QoS will have all new substantial supplements, which I think it will, seeing as Marc Forester is a director who likes to record commentary for his films (many times along with the starring actors).

The Toronto Sun reported a while back that Marc Forster has said he's working on a special edition release though he is unsure how much of the making of details he would like to reveal.

There is some debate apparently as to whether the extended ending will appear on the disc or not. The disc will contain "commentaries" and extra featurettes according to the article (available here).

Oh there will be rereleases. Haven't heard of any yet, but this movie will be rereleased in countless versions for the rest of our lives. Those Brocollis! Always with the newest editions!

To echo what others have said, will there be a double dip on QoS? Undoubtedly, yes.

The fact that the current blu-ray lacks any sort of commentary or picture-in-picture features and is devoid of a comprehensive set of non-EPK style supplements makes it all too clear what they have planned.

QoS will probably be re-released 100 times before we die, just like all the Bond films lol.
