Of course, you haven't experienced Blu-ray without HD audio.

Yes for me. Bitstream to HD receiver. Only option in my book. I just wish they had more 7.1 tracks

I have an option for both, but 95% of the time I'm bitstreaming audiophile mode from my BD-UP5000 letting my receiver decode even though the PS3 is hooked up to the same unit.

Nope. I only have a 5.1 setup right now. I wouldn't mind at least upgrading my receiver at some point, but it's not really an option right now. Plus, 7.1 would be major overkill for a bedroom. Even so, I do notice a sizeable difference in sound over a DVD.

I love 7.1, I don't see how it would be overkill. It still can be used in very cool ways, Saw V and The Spirit are fantastic tracks.

I'm sure eventually you'll outgrow that bedroom and your HT will be in another room

What does only having 5.1 sound have to do with Dolby TrueHD and DTS-MA?? There are HUNDREDS of Dolby TrueHD and DTS-MA Blu-rays out there and only a handful are 7.1. The number of channels has nothing to do with it being lossless or not.

If the disc has it, I ALWAYS watch the lossless audio option.
