pass, after much anticipation and buying it on dvd for 4 dollars at a CC sale, i thought the movie was awful, and actually seems like a spoof of the 80s and 80s cop movies.

If it gets any kind of decent reviews it'll be a must buy for me. I just hope that it's not messed with like the French Connection was.

One of my all time favourites..... day one !

Nice clean encode from a good print and lossless audio will do me fine - nothing unrealistic....

Although Id like a lower price and no included DVD (same for Road House)

This is a great film but again I prefer to netflix this before rental. This was announced so long ago i'm wondering if it has an old mpeg2 transfer? I'd feel a bit more secure after rental.
