I have HDMI and 1080i (sorry, no p but it still is unreal)... for 'DVD Upscaler' there were several options... Letterbox, Normal & Double Scale.
Is Double Scale the choice I want to upconvert my DVD's? |

I think to answer your question directly, if you have an anamorphic DVD you will want Full Screen. If your DVD is letterboxed you will want Double Scale. With a 4:3 DVD you will want Normal.

Well, I also think it depends on your TV. I leave my PS3 on Normal, and I was able to view anamorphic and full screen movies at their "normal" aspect ratios.
