Default 'Big' -- pre-release thread

Fox has announced the 1988 hit comedy for Blu-ray:

http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/big.html

Tech specs are 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video and DTS-MA 5.1 Surround audio.

No extra details yet, but expect something comparable to the previous DVD.

MSRP is $34.95, and street date May 5.

This release thrills me! Definitely will add to my collection at some point (aka, when the price is right).

I will add it when it's cheap. The retail price is steep. I somehow don't think this is one that is going to look great on Blu-ray though but I'll still eventually pick it up more than likely.

Default One question

Isn't BIG in 1.85 : 1 ?

Unfortunately this is an old title and FOX is probably going to ruin the transfer as usual ( Shame cause I just love this movie so much

Great movie, but over priced.

A 80's film that is back catalog, ought to be $29.99 list price. not $35. sorry Fox... another overpriced title.

Fox has been doing very well with porting over their extras. Here's hoping this is another example of that.
