Default STOMP LIVE has 24bit 7.1 PCM Audio!

Despite the back cover which just states it having "5.1 surround", it's actually a fantastic track which is the peak of home audio technology for films.

It is so clear that it truly does sound like you are in the room (with a proper setup of course).

As for the film itself, I really appreciate narrative, so I didn't like it quite as much as the Blue Man Group disc (which also sounds spectacular by the way). There was only one skit that had a true "story" to it and that is "Newspapers".

My favorite musical performance was probably the empty water bottles because they had a great african bongo sound.

It was very entertaining but I have to admit not including any traditional instruments got a little tiring by the end. You can only hear trashcan lids smashing together for so long before it starts to get annoying.

It's definitely worth a rent for the sound quality alone.
