even though i saw this a month before it went wide theatrically, i still felt like seating through a very sappy discredit film, i believed it was going to surpass The Notebook and oh boy was i wrong. not really into chick flicks but The Notebook truly captures any type of audience, with great characters, solid storyline and a heartfelt driving synopsis. nothing in Rodanthe had me cheering.

Curious to know how it compares to the book? Furthermore, how does it stack up with the likes of A Walk to Remember and Message in a Bottle? I don't understand why it only get's compared to The Notebook... was it the same director or something? Because if it's source material, it really should be compared to those other films as well.

^Now there is the peak of interest for this film on HDD...

Avoid this film at all costs.

Track down unfaithful....i promise you you won't be watching the movie past the halfway mark. The ladies really enjoy that one.
