Oh, good. I really liked this mini-series and have been eagerly awaiting a BD release. Decent price too.

Wonder what the specs will be?

Double the price of the DVD is a good price? I dont think so. But, considering theres not even a date yet, im positive we'll see this go down to about 45-50

I said 'decent' price. Not good by any means but at least it's realitively in line with other TV series on BD.....

Hey, anythings better than the $130 for half of a season of Sopranos that HBO was charging.

I'd definitely like to see a better price than $59.99, but it's not double the price of the DVD. The DVD set is currently $36.49 on Amazon. And when you consider that several of the episodes run at or close to feature length, $60 isn't all that bad compared to what prices are for single movies on Blu-ray.

Shhh! Don't tell Warner (parent of HBO), but $59 *is* a decent price for this mini-series. It was very well done. I'd love to see it cheaper, but it is a great series. I watched it all on HBO so I'm not sure I'd buy it at this point in time, but I would definitely keep it on my wish list for future purchase at something like DeepDiscount's 25% sale (where you get an extra 25% off already reduced prices).

Thought it was really good, but I don't know that I'd need to own it. A rental was good enough for me.

Wow I could have sworn there was a thread on this already.... I just can't seem to find it.

I even remeber commenting in it..... or at least I thought.

Anyway... this is a great mini series. And the blu-ray should be a treat if BoB is any indication.
