Warner celebrates the 20th Anniversary of Tim Burtonís Batman

We just got word that Warner Home Video is preparing a 20th Anniversary Edition of Tim Burtonís Batman on Blu-Ray Disc for release in March.
Jack Nicholson is the Joker, who emerged from a horrible accident as a maniacal criminal. Michael Keaton is the Caped Crusader, who emerged from a childhood trauma to become a masked crimefighter. Kim Basinger is Vicki Vale, the talented photojournalist desired by both men.

No exact details or specs have been announced yet, but the release will comes as a 2-disc Digibook version, containing a BD-25 disc for the movie and a separate DVD for the bonus materials.

The release date for ďBatmanĒ is tentatively scheduled for March 31, but weíll keep you informed on any new developments of announcements weíll hear of.

that is amazing. warner is going the fox route by simply pressing more Disc 2s from the two-disc dvd set. ugh.

honestly some people just need to SHUT THE FUCK UP and remember that the digibook releases have consistently been among Warner's BEST releases.
so this is actually great news if you are looking for a quality release.
expect something just like the "Dirty harry" set. A boxset plus an individual digibook release.
Isn't this more than obvious at this point?

I wonder how these Batman films will be received since the Nolan versions seem to be the widely-accepted fan favorites?

Hmmm....
