Default 'Friday Night Lights' -- pre-release thread

Universal has announced the a January 6 Blu-ray bow for 'Friday Night Lights':

Tech specs will see a BD-50 with 1080p video and DTS-MA 5.1 Surround audio.

Extras will mirror the previous HD DVD, with audio commentary, featurettes and deleted scenes.

MSRP is $29.98.

I enjoyed this film too. I was quick to dismiss the TV show spinoff until I watched it. The TV show is great

I enjoyed this movie, but will probably wait until a sale as I have already bought more than I can watch for the time being.

I 110% agree. The show is one of the best, from its engrossing storylines to its memorable characters (SMASHBALL BABY!!!). Season 3 is going strong.

We should probably start a Friday Night Lights the series thread, but is it just me or does anybody else find Coach Taylor's wife highly do-able?
