I'm contemplating whether to do a blind buy on this one.

A rather slow movie. I'd give 6.5 at best and sound in the theater was not good!

If you're blind buying with the expectation that it'll be like the 3:10 to Yuma remake, DON'T. However, if you're looking for a more old-school style western like Unforgiven, this movie won't disappoint. Of course, best thing to do is give it a rent first to see if it's something you'd want to watch multiple times. I didn't like it myself, but critics have reviewed it favourably.

+1, I'd advise a rental first. Really curious to see how the quality of the BD turns out. PQ wasn't very good.

Hoping that the Blu-ray release will be as good as "3:10 to Yuma", not as bad as "The Assasination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford". Lossless audio and good transfer + HD extras please.
