where's your source. the french connection is supposed to be one of the best movies of all time and ive been wanting to see it for a while. gene hackman won best actor for it, and id like to see his best actor film because for me, i think hes always been a good actor but ive never seen any greatness in him but maybe this will prove to me that he does.

My source for all releases i post is directly from the studios themselves. This is also where i got all the extra features, audio and if anyone wants the msrp - (which is usually the same $34.99 for all fox releases).

Usually i post these on my upcoming release section of my site first and then try and be helpful in the blu-ray community and post information that i know hasn't been announced on some of the High-Def websites. I'm a big blu-ray fan as well so i get just as excited as the next person when i hear of a release for the 1st time.

you've never seen greatness in Gene Hackman? He's my favorite actor. Watch Crimson Tide, Runawa Jury, the Supermans, Royal Tenenbaums, Quick and the Dead, Unforgiven, The Firm, just to name a few. There are many others. But all of his movies, i can watch over and over. I can not wait for French Connection to come out. It was on my list to buy, because i never saw it. But now that its coming to Blu, i will wait till then.

Oh, i have to mention Bonnie and Clyde, and Scarecrow.

i love crimson tide and i love unforgiven. my favorite performance of his IS in crimson tide. but like i said, it seems like all very good performances, but not great, not one of the best actors of all time performances like many people say he is. but looking forward to this one nonetheless.

great film..by Francis Ford Coppola, which was nominated for Best picture the same year as Godfather Part II (1974), making it only the second time two best picture nominations were handed out to the same director in one year..the first being Alfred Hitchcock in 1940 (if i remember correctly) for Rebecca & The Foreign Correspondent,
