Default Burn After Reading Dec 23

The Coen's Burn After Reading on Blu-ray in Time for X-Mas
October 27, 2008

The Coen Brothers' latest star-studded spectacle Burn After Reading with George Clooney, Frances McDormand, Brad Pitt and John Malkovich will appear on Blu-ray just in time for Christmas on December 23, day-and-date with DVD.

Universal Studios Home Entertainment will give Burn After Reading its usual Blu-ray treatment with a widescreen 1.85:1 1080p transfer and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio.

Compared to other big November and December releases from Universal like Hellboy II, Wanted and The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, Burn After Reading is fairly light on supplemental features. We've included what is likely the full and final list below.

BD Live - My Scenes Sharing (Blu-ray exclusive)
Burn After Reading on Blu-ray will retail for $39.98. We'll be back to update this article with high resolution cover art and pre-order information in the near future.

Saw it in theaters...not sure how I felt about it. Might pick it up if there's a good sale somewhere.

saw this in theaters. thought it was pretty meh. definitely in the bottom 25th percentile for coen bros. movies. that being said, since i love the coens and am a completist, i'll be getting this when it comes out.

I liked it. Not as much as Fargo and their other top movies, but it was a funny film full of great characters as usual. Brad Pitt, John Malkovich and J.K. Simmons are especially good in it. Better than The Ladykillers and Intolerable Cruelty for sure.
