Default The Hulk playback problems

I have a panasonic bd-30 and i just got done watching the hulk. Awesome movie by the way. My player lock up twice and could not be unlocked without having to unplug the player from the wall. I do have the latest firmware. Anyone else have this problem?

If your player freezes, try holding down the power button 'til it shuts off. That's what I do, and it sure beats unplugging it. Hopefully I have no issues tomorrow when my copy shows up.

F*cking hell. Will it take 5 years for stability to arrive if one decides to forgo the PS3? My BD-UP5000 played the first 5 minutes just fine...can't wait to see what transpires when I watch the rest. Guess I'll be crossing all body parts!

Default No Hulk on Samsung BD-P1000

I can not get Hulk to play on my Samsung BD-P1000... Thought I had the latest firmware, am checking now... This crap is why HD DVD WAS superior. No firmware everytime a new movie came out. Undoubtedly, this is a BD-Live problem on older machines...

Thumbs down Frustrations Mount

Just spent the last 45 minutes downloading and installing the latest firmware for BD-P1000 (v 1.6) and the f-ing thing still won't play the hulk. After I rebooted, I put the disc in the player, and 2 seconds later... it spit it back out and said the disc could not be played. After 3 such instances, it finally booted the disc, and loaded to a black screen. That was it on the 1000. I took it to the bedroom and loaded it up on the BD-P1200 (latest firmware also), it too spit the disc out on the first 2 tries. Finally, on the third try it loaded up the menu. Yet to find out if it will actually load past the menu... Nothing on the 1000, maybe on the 1200 with too much effort. What happened to just putting in a movie, and having it play?

Isteal, you are sadly stricken with a couple of ancient standalones (worse, they're Samsung). I often wonder why Samsung just doesn't send all such owners a complimentary BD-P1500. This of course doesn't explain the Panasonic problem described by the OP.

I have a Panasonic BD-30 as well. I hope to watch my copy of The Incredible Hulk sometime this weekend. Hopefully, I won't have any issues...

Do you mean Hulk or The Incredible Hulk? If you mean Hulk, then the issue is not with the player, but common decency and morals. If you mean The Incredible Hulk, not sure as I just watched it without a single issue.
