Already pre-ordered it along with the X-Files two pack--all come out on the same day.

I should be okay by then, it still 3 months away.

Ben, I would disagree. I think in most cases people would advise watching the original first. To me this has always been a great 'message movie' with sci-fi nuances and situations taking place rather than a full-on sci-fi movie. Great acting and great story. I'm guessing the remake will be heavy on action and special effects. If you see it first and then see the original black & white film, you probably won't 'get it'. Trust me, I've observed your taste in movies on this board for a while now! Make sure to watch the original first. It won't spoil anything for you as the ending is reportedly quite different for the remake.

its a classic, lets see if the price stays at $35 list price. Fox has a habit of trading up to $40.

but, no matter the title, they do price it much higher than the DVD comparable. for instance the DVD is list price $15, new DVD 2 disc special edition coming out, List price $20. Why won't fox price the Blu-Ray at a reasonable $28.95 list price?
