Well, of course, you're going to get screwed by taking in your DVDs for trade-in at MovieStop, but the thing is they will take every single movie you have to offer them. Some places like FYE will have a limit on the number of the same title that they will buy back used. MovieStop, however, will take all of them. The good thing is, at least, that with MovieStop now you can trade in four DVDs and get whatever credit from them plus an extra $5 if you want to put your credit toward a yet-to-be-released movie on blu-ray.

MovieStop's prices aren't that great, though. They're pretty much retail price without any discount. I did notice, however, that MovieStop matched the $14.99 Warner blu-ray titles recently. Just like FYE, though, I usually just look for decent prices on used blu-ray movies at MovieStop.

Well, I took four movies in there last week when I picked up Transformers, and I think I got a total of just under $9. It all depends on the quality and demand for the movies that they already have in-store, I suppose. I'm sure they're not gonna give you $7 for a copy of "Schindler's List" if they already have 5-10 copies in-store that need to sell, ya know?

Why use them? There are so many alternatives for better prices.

Sometimes their prices are high but every once and a while they have some good deals. The only problem I have with them is their inventory of films. My local Gamestop/EB has maybe 15 titles, then again they tell me as soon as films come in, home office has them ship it out within a week or so.
