Default New details on Resident Evil: Degeneration Blu-ray release

Quote:
Resident Evil fans know how bad the RE movies are. Hopefully Resident Evil: Degeneration -- the CG movie featuring a seven-year Claire and Leon reunion -- will pick up the pieces and make everything good again. It won't be too long before we find out the answer to that as the Sony Pictures film is set to hit stores this winter.

If you're just dying to know more about this direct-to-Blu-ray film release, Blu-ray.com scored some skin-crawling details regarding the zombie flick. Video will be presented in "1.78:1 1080p AVC" which is complemented by a "5.1 Dolby TrueHD soundtrack." With specs like that, stepping into the world of survival horror won't ever be the same. In addition to that info, a full list of Blu-ray Extras can be found after the break.

Extras for Resident Evil: Degeneration include:

Interactive Picture-in-Picture (BD Exclusive)
Trivia Track
The Making of Resident Evil: Degeneration
Character Profiles
Voice Bloopers
Leon Interview
Resident Evil: Degeneration Trailer Collection
Resident Evil: Degeneration Tokyo Game Show Trailer
Resident Evil 5 Video Game Trailer

So what is the cost? Although it will be a blind buy for me.

Will there be another Live Action film too?

I doubt this movie will be much better if not worse (okay, it can't be worse than RE: Apocalypse, but still) than the live action ones. From the previews I've seen, it looks like watching a feature-length video-game cutscene from a PS2 game. After the nonsense that was Final Fantasy Advent Children, my expectations for this thing isn't exactly high. I'm much more excited to play Resident Evil 5 on my PS3.

Advent Children was good for a video game movie =( or even a CG anime, for that matter.

And since RE: Degeneration is being done by Capcom themselves, I can say that it'll be at least as good as a (relatively short) Resident Evil game.

RE movies aren't bad and i'm looking forward to the new one even if Mila isn't in it unfortunately.

Finally a RE movie that actually relates to the games.

Ugh, it can't be any worse then the Paul Wet Shit Anderson films/"productions".

Yes, it will be like an "extended cut scene" because it's a feature.

Any game that features paid loot boxes should be rated AO.

^it has nothing to do with the movie trilogy, its not made by the same people or ANYTHING, so people should stop trying to compare it. This is based on the games, and is probably cannon to the games story even. So look at it as part of the actual resident evil series
