Default Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete: March 2009

Apparently it'll be bundled with the game Final Fantasy XIII, although I imagine you'll be able to buy it separately. Good news indeed!

Umm. What part of demo didn't you get. I hate coming off like a prick but DEMO is in huge font as soon as you click the link.

Movie will come with a 2 hours demo, not a full game

I understand it comes with just the game demo, not the full game which I don't give a crap about. The full game is not supposed to be out until December 2009.

Man, I post some good news and get attacked over syntax.

New trailer has been released, composed entirely of new scenes, looks awesome. Audio is Japanese w/out subtitles, are there any Japanese speakers here to give any sort of translation?

Buy the game separately, or the movie? Sounds like you're talking about the full game to me, hardly a syntax error. Either way you should probably edit the message because some people don't even bother clicking the link.

I don't believe you should be attacked for making an error, we all make them. But you do need to change it because sometimes rumors get started, and nobody really knows where they start. Could be from poor communication or message boards...who knows.

As for Advent Children getting a release on Blu, that is indeed good news!

It's bundled with the demo of Final Fantasy XIII and this release is only confirmed for Japan as of now.

True. I'll be importing it, assuming that it is region-free (I live in Oz and have a Region B PS3) and has English subtitles. All I know for sure is that this release will rock the house.

Most Japanese Blu-ray releases are region free. Though Square-Enix is an unknown quantity in this regard. I can tell you that the film likely will not include English subtitles. The PS3 itself is a region free system for games (though it enforces Blu-ray movie region coding) so the FFXIII demo will work anywhere in the world. I imagine it won't be easy to play through the demo not being able to read Japanese but you can probably figure out what command is 'Attack' and that sort of thing pretty easily.

Thanks for the info, even the stuff I already knew. One thing - how exactly do you know that ACC won't have English subtitles? I sort of assumed it would based on the fact that many of the movies released in western countries seem to sport subtitles for various languages - is this not as common in Japan?
