December 12th? I just read on Kotaku that this Blu-ray will be included in the first 500,000 Playstation 3s which launch in November.

Nope it just says you will get the Blu-ray for free. Not that it will be in the box. There must be a copoun involved. My mistake. I was reading what I wanted to read I guess.

Ctrl F for the word "nights".

"The first 500,000 PS3s will get a copy of Talladega Nights in Blu-ray for frees. Sweet."

EDIT
But wait! IGN has a different take on it!

2nd to last paragraph.

"As a treat, the first 500,000 PlayStation 3 units shipped will include the Blu-ray edition of Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. The bonus puts the Blu-ray edition of the Will Ferrell film in customers' hands ahead of its retail release on December 12."

Another EDIT
More insistance from IGN that the Blu-ray will be in the PS3 box:

2:05 pm 2nd paragraph.

"Effective Nov. 17 the first 500,000 units of PS3 will ship with Talladega Nights on Blu-ray before it is available to the public on December 12. We were then shown an extended trailer for the movie."

Yeah it's exactly like what they did with the PSP. The curious thing will be to see what they do with the remodeled PSP mid-next year.
