Default thanks Warner, you suck @**

yet another catalog release with lossy audio, and this time it's a double dip. A Christmas Story is coming out again this fall without lossless. it's even going to be a dual layer Blu-ray, but Warner has taken the lazy approach to audio once again. good job Warner, keep up the good work.

After the death of HD DVD they certainly became the worst Studio. I only have 6 BD's from them.

Are the at least including the original mono?

That'd just about take the cake if they dropped the original track and replaced it with a remixed, non-lossless, DD 5.1 piece....

More like they totally suck for taking over New Line, and it looks like the first New Line they put out being Blow will ditch the DTS 7.1 and go for plain old Dolby 5.1. Wow Warner, wow. Good way to get on the good side of people loving New Lines Blu-ray support.

Ouch, I never even thought about losing the 7.1 from New Line. That blows, I have been buying all the 7.1 stuff I can find.

Well, to regurgitate a favorite line: the consumer has spoken.

Seriously, obviously enough of the lower rez DD movies are selling in relation to lossless films that Warner doesn't feel particularly compelled to include lossless on 100% of its releases.

I compared the DTS-HD MA track on Aviator (Dutch Import) vs the lossy DD track on Aviator (Warner - U.S ) and the difference is night and day. Every element of the sound mix was brought to life. Even the TV speakers were good enough to discern the difference.

Isn't I AM LEGEND the best selling BD title at over 300K copies?

yeah, but that includes a lossless audio track.

anyway, i now despise this studio. why the hell can't they be like EVERY other major studio and use lossless. i refuse to buy a movie without lossless audio, except for maybe Planet Earth or something like that.
