Default ''Mongol'' on October 14

According to www.thehdroom.com, Universal is bringing this flick about the story of Gengis Khan out on bbblu September 9th. I thought the trailer looked very cool and will probably blind buy it when it is released. This fall is looking very expensie for us bbblu brothers .

Im excited to see it...but as always...cooler heads prevail: Rent it first if at all possible. The film has received a very mixed bag of reviews like most other films and you really are doing your wallet a favor by seeing it first, IMO.

I finally got to see this in the theater this past weekend after months of waiting. This was one of my most anticipated films of the year. But, I was seriously underwhelmed by the movie. It suffers from a lot of pacing problems, especially in the first act where it appears quite a bit was cut.

It wasn't a bad movie by any means, but I would definitely recommend a rental before picking it up. If I would not have seen it theatrically, I would have bought it on a blind buy. Now, if I do decide to get it, it will be in a sale way on down the road.

I'm glad that they're continuing to bring foreign films to blu though.

This is part of a trilogy, and the trailer looked badass.

Blind buy for me!

I got to see this back in April at the Phx film festival. I enjoyed it. As Bsweetness said, it does suffer a bit from pacing. I would definitely suggest renting before buying.
