Default Harold and Kumar movies coming to Blu-ray!

Quote:
New Line Home Entertainment have announced the US Region A Blu-ray Disc release of Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay on 29th July 2008 priced at $35.99 SRP. John Cho and Kal Penn return as Harold and Kumar, two stoners who can’t seem to get a break. In this new adventure the boys get themselves in trouble trying to sneak a bong onboard a flight to Amsterdam. Now, being suspected of terrorism, they are forced to run from the law and try to find a way to prove their innocence. What follows is an irreverent and epic journey of deep thoughts, deeper inhaling and a wild trip around the world that is as “un-PC” as it gets.

Arriving day-and-date, this two-disc set includes the Unrated Cut of the main feature and the following extras:

* Bonus Digital Copy
* Dude, Change the Movie! – Interactive Feature allowing you to select from new and alternate scenes to change the course of the film
* Commentary with the director and stars
* Commentary with the director, the real “Harold Lee” and the guy who plays George W. Bush
* ”The World of Harold and Kumar” Featurette
* 27 Additional Scenes
* Bush PSA

More details are TBC.

Also released the same day on Blu-ray Disc is the original movie, Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle. Priced at $28.99 SRP, features are TBC.

Great news! loved the first one, but gotta go in with low expectation with the sequel so it won't disappointing if it ain't good. Now, Warner just has to get these on their site asap.

harold and kumar go to white castle is either my 2nd or 3rd favorite comedy of all time. i couldnt wait for guantanamo bay and once it ended, i was a bit dissapointed. the 2nd one was still funny but not on the same level as the 1st one, a step below.

Excellent. I heard that Guantanamo Bay was coming, but didn't hear about the original. The original is one of my top 3 comedies, behind Rushmore and Best in Show.

HK2 was meh for me. Rob Cordry was horrible. He killed every scene he was in. NPH wasn't as funny either. He was playing more of a parody of himself in the first movie, which was already a parody on the real NPH, so...

Nevermind.
