It is shot in SD so there is zero improvement with a HD transfer; however, the final moments in the film are in HD so there is improvement but we're talking minutes of footage.

It's the best the movie's going to get, but compared to other Blu-rays, I'd rate it that low. This isn't a showcase for Blu-ray, but it is a great movie.

Well from what I hear even though the PQ won't blow you away the audio compared to the DVD is certainly a big upgrade. I just ordered it from Amazon with the new sale they are doing I personally loved the movie but never got the DVD so I shouldn't be disappointed.

I'd say get it if you can decode DTS-HD MA or if you find it for super cheap.

I own it and yes it really does look horrible - but that's the way it was intended to look. And I also got it in a 2 for one with 28 Weeks Later. The way I look at it, I paid $27 for Weeks and got Days for free....

Plus I never had the DVD so it worked out for me.

It wasn't intended to look horrible, it was just shot with those cameras, which translate horribly to HDTVs.

Unless you have a great sound system, pick it up on SD, you can get it really cheap, especially used by now.

The sequel looks great but wasn't a big fan of the movie.

Hmmm, I've had it on SD for the longest time, hehe. I was just curious about the Blu version, I'll prolly end up picking a diff movie

If you're not in for the marginal improvement, you probably should. But the Blu-ray is probably as good as this movie is ever going to look.
