Default A BLU-RAY title for showing off?

ok, I'm stuck people. So far, I only purchased 3 blu-ray discs that I really wanted. They are The Aviator, Eight Below, and 30 days of night. They didn't disappoint, so... help me out here? I'm a sci-fi fan, but I get into stuff like The Lake House, and Cinderella Man. I'm also looking for a blu-ray movie that fills up the whole screen (for showing off to family).

I suggest Cars or Ratatouille. They were the two best that I've ever seen and the ones I show off a lot. Not really sci-fi but they are 1.85:1 ratio and family oriented.

In all honesty, I would pick up a John Wayne flick, such as The Searchers. Every movie lover needs to have at least some appreciation for that man and his movies.

They can both be had in the B2G1 sale on Amazon.

Both duckydan's suggestions are definitely demo material. No matter the aspect ratio though, your family should be blown away by some of the best stuff that Blu-ray has to offer if you have true 1080p capability with your TV and a good sound set-up. So bearing in mind that aspect ratio, as long as it is OAR, doesn't mean a thing to me, my additional suggestions would be:

The Chronicles of Narnia: TLTWATW
No Country for Old Men
I, Robot
Flags of Our Fathers
Spider-Man 3 (though the movie is not the best, IMO)

As someone who owns about 70 BDs, I can safely say that I, Robot and Ratatouille are the best-looking titles I have seen. Plenty of other ones look good, but these are the absolute cream of the crop in terms of PQ.

Pans Labyrinth.

It also fills up the whole screen.

Well aside from those you bought, in which they wont fill up the whole screen, as they are 2.35:1 films. Try these great looking Blu-rays of 1.85:1...

Closer
Stranger Than Fiction
The Host
The Shining (surprised at how nice it looks, being such an old film)

Those are a great way to showoff what Blu-ray really is.

Appereantly you have not seen many, because they are a lot of SUPERB looking Blu-ray titles, Stranger Than Fiction is one of them.
