Default Which Bluray Movie Do You Regret Buying?

I went to Best Buy tonight and picked up there 2 for 30$ deal on Bluray. I picked Conair, and Tears of the Sun. I came home and started watching Conair and totally regret buying it. While I was watching it, I was thinking to myself (Why the hell did I buy this movie) Anyone ever felt this about a Bluray purchase before?

Well, it's just human nature. I think that most of us here have gone through that, if not initially after the purchase, but somewhere down the road. Sometimes movies that we used to love, start to wear thin after a couple of viewings.

For me, I'd probably say 'Crank'. It's a fun, mindless action romp that I've watched two or three times now. I can't imagine watching it again anytime soon.

I heard 28 days later was a horrible transfer but you would think it having a AVC transfer and it being a later Blu release, it would have looked good.

28 Days Later was shot on SD digital video therefore the source is SD and no transfer can change that, unlike film which can be mastered to any resolution and look great digital video is shot at a resolution(in this case 720x480) and that is the resolution it will look like even if played at 1080p
that horse has been beaten dead many times...

ok OP time so far i have been lucky i have liked all my blind buys the one i like least is probably The Wild Bunch, I just cant get into it, its alright though

I posted saying it's was a Trailer Movie and I still went out and picked it up. I couldn't watch it, just scanned through it/ten minutes.

I have a few BDs that I bought and resold immediately:

Crank (good transfer, hate the movie) - blind buy
Sleepy Hollow (hate the transfer, love the movie)
No Country For Old Men (good transfer, hate the movie) - blind buy
Tomb Raider (wildly inconsistent transfer, liked the movie)
The Prestige (good transfer, but movie literally put me to sleep) - blind buy

As a result, I have stopped blind buying BDs. After being burned 3 times, I have learned my lesson. No matter how many people recommend a movie, it doesn't mean I'll enjoy it. Rent, rent, rent before you buy. Make up your own mind.
