Default Cloverfield - Release Date?

I didn't see any threads relating to this, but if there is one I apologize.

According to this site it says Cloverfield is coming out June 3rd. However, according to Amazon.com, Buy.com, and Walmart.com, it's coming out May 20th?

Do these online stores know something we don't, or is this a mistake on their part? I believe Paramount announced it was coming June 3rd? I wonder if it got pushed up?

Thanks,

-diVe-

If they don't issue a "this has been pushed back until next week" notification within this week then we'll know for sure about this once and for all.

From all the comments about it, this and TWBB will be huge sellers.

As well as Sweeney Todd...when Paramount/Dreamworks decide to tell us something.

if anything they would send out a "this title is coming out early" press release

because the origional press release, which was their huge blu-ray press release had a lot of may 20th releases, but had cloverfield clearly listed as june 3rd

I'm wondering if HD will actually make a difference in picture quality for Cloverfield...I know the audio will be much better, but can the picture be any better?

It was filmed with HD cameras and then degraded to look like standard def footage. So when played side by side you'll notice a difference but it's up to the viewer if it's worth the Blu-Ray or SD price.

Personally I am looking for the blu-ray. Visual were amazing. They may not look it but if you knew how some of the shots were put together and how hard it was you'd be jumping for a chance of getting more of anything from this movie.
