If the quality on DSC-HD looks good I'll buy the Blu-ray version... A lot of video from this series is black & white from the 70's so my expectations for this are not very high...

EDIT: July 24 is the ship date from the Discovery Store... Not sure if this is an exclusive to them or not...

Hope it's not exclusive. I would like to be able to get this via Netflix.

I've checked several websites and nobody has this listed, so I'm just assuming it's exclusive to the DSC store... I hope it's not either because I don't want to pay $80 for it... $80 retail would be $56 on Amazon...

I just caught a glimpse while watching Cash Cab, and I searched here to see if a BD version was in the works... HDD needs atleast a description page for this...

yeah it was really weird when I posted it and I just watched it slowly die over that day.
Then of course I knew HDD would revive it with an article and they never did. strange.

Assuming they have free shipping and don't charge tax, that's about $5 cheaper than Amazon...

The 70's content is in color, not black and white.
I watched it on Broadcast and I don't see the BD improving anything. Unless there are some extras worth watching. I'll just permanently archive it with TiVo Desktop what I recorded in HD from my TiVo.
