Default 'Helvetica' - High-Def Digest Review

Kenneth's review of 'Helvetica' has been posted. He says the film
isn't for everyone, but it's an interesting exploration of typography
and its impact on society and psychology. This Blu-ray release has a
slightly problematic video transfer, a bland two-channel audio track,
and a dry set of supplements. Rent this one first to see it suits your
tastes.

They should do a similar documentary on Comic Sans and how that font's complete crappiness has invaded every part of the modern world in only a scant few years. Maybe people will actually learn something then.

This is a great documentary with some excellent history of type. The participants are engaging and some are highly energized by type and its negative spacing. I love this film.

Some of my favorites are Helvetica, Helvetica Neue, Interstate, Century Gothic, and they go on and on.
