The thing is that how much will they charge on Blu? Being a catalog title, hopefully Warner sticks to their $19.99 pricing off of Amazon.

Great news, i cant wait, more money to spend in may

candy: to the question of pricing, it says in the article the msrp is about $29(28 and change) so with amazon it should be about 19.99

Sounds like WB will not be doing any re-encodes on any of their previously released HD DVD exclusives.

Oh well, at least they will be there.

Luckily on V, a re-encode isn't needed. The damn thing looks, and sounds really good, definitely not perfect, but I don't think you'd find too many complainers who own this on HD DVD

No, and I don't automatically assume a reencode will have vast improvements. Just would be cool to see if there were differences.

there would diffenitely be a difference if there was a new encode. what else is the higher bandwidth and space used for? I expect a new high bitrate blu-ray encode for all new warner releases. New Line Cinema did it with RH3 and Shoot'em Up. Warner needs to finally get with it. that same old recycled trash needs to change now.
