Default Boondock Saints 2 GreenLit :)

Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day

Finally the courts have settled the entanglements that were holding up the sequel to one of my all time favorite movies. Now that its green lit and ready to go, when do you think sony will step up & release Boondock on Blu Ray?

Granted i already bought it twice, regular & limited editions dvd to help support the cause, i'm ready to triple dip for what I hope would be a blu filled with extra features and some great commentaries!

what do you guys think?

Cool. I enjoyed the first one very much, even have my copy signed by Ron Jeremy.

But I thought after "Overnight" the director would never be able to get a job in Hollywood again. What a prick that guy was.

It will be interesting to see how this will turn out.

Loved the first film... just don't think any sequel could top it.

Same here. A sequel could diminish how great the original was, imho. Sometimes...a movie should just be made ONCE!! Sequels are rarely better than the original...although there are exceptions. Godfather II was better than I,imho. Would love to see Boondock Saints on blu!!!!

needs to be moved to the film forum. no offense to the OP but this doesn't really concern blu software just yet.

20th Century Fox has the rights to the first one. Not Sony.

Not sure what this is doing here. Perhaps OP is really excited for the Blu-ray?

We borrowed this from a friend quite a long time ago after he had been talking it up like crazy. Every single one of us thought it was nothing above crap (okay, maybe the crap steam, but no higher).

I don't have a clue as to how the movie got so much of a cult following.

Well, that's typically what makes a cult movie a cult movie. They're usually love it or hate it affairs. I loved this movie, but there's plenty of cult movies I absolutely can't stand, but others love, like the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
