Default Stephen Sondheim's "Company" Image Blu-ray pre-order

I didn't see it on highdefdigest's release schedule but just noticed that the PBS airing of Stephen Sondheim's "Company" is coming out on May 20th from Image on Blu-ray. The street price is $29.98 but Amazon has it for $19.95 (I've just ordered it from DVDPlanet.com at $19.47 because I have a credit with them.)

It will be widescreen and in DTS. I watched the PBS airing last week and though the show was supposed to be in HD, being they are a public channel and don't have much money the local channel here in L.A. only has standard def and very poor quality at that. So I am looking forward to getting this.

Sondheim is also the composer/lyricist of "Sweeney Todd."

I missed this on PBS, so I'm thrilled it's coming out in hi-def.

I'd like it if they could dig out the Great Performances of "Contact." I saw the road show but would much rather see the original Girl in the Yellow Dress, Deborah Yates, whom I believe is in the GP one. Talk about hot!

My copy of "Company" came today. Excellent picture and audio. The three extras are worth watching, interviews with the star, the director, and a 40-min. British TV interview with Sondheim conducted 2 weeks after the filming of Sweeney Todd wrapped (the extras are in 480i).
