Default Are Amazon's prices Worth Accepting?

Hey all,

I'm interested in purchasing I, Robot and I Am Legend, and found the former to be $27.95 and the latter $24.95 at Amazon.

I then looked at Best Buy online, and saw I, Robot is selling for 34.95! I Am Legend was also a couple dollars more expensive.

Anyway, as I'm new to the Blu-ray world and this (great) site, I'm curious if these prices are worth an immediate purchase or if they'll see a decrease fairly soon.

Thanks!

$27-28 is on the high side for Amazon but you wont find cheaper outside of a promotion.

Those titles will, at some point but who knows when, show up on a sale of some sort. 'I am Legene' not for another 2-4 months though given its new.

sometimes, best buy, circuit city, etc have the movies for less ONLY on the day of release. After that, they go to normal price. I pre-order from Amazon (or buy.com) because the prices are cheaper and i receive them a day earlier. My order for tomorrows releases are in transit and i should have them in a few hours.

i've learned to just think if i ever feel amazons prices are too high that they in the end are worth it for the great customer service.

I'd feel cheap going to best buy or wherever for a price match of a dollar or two. But on amazon its so easy to just email customer service and get a response within hours.

I'm a member of prime and it has paid itself off. I now save on shipping and get my movies either a day before , same day or one day later at the most. I dont have to pay the ny tax prices and I save on gas. Amazon has treated me great. Can't say the same for my credit card and bank account but I love doing business with them now. I've started buying video games now too from them.

Amazon is great. It should also be noted "I, Robot" is a Fox title which carries at $27.95 premium on Amazon wether it's a new movie or catalog release.

Amazon is $10 cheaper than Anywhere else. Its more foxs fault for releasing all their stuff(catalog and non) to 27 bucks.
Sony knows that its up to them to make people buy movies for their format so they only charge 19.99-23.
