Default Who is relying on reviews of this weeks new releases?

Is anyone on the fence about getting any of the new titles and are awaiting the review before biting? I know I am eagerly awaiting the reviews for Hitman, Dogma, and i Robot.

No Country for Old Men was a no brainer must own for me personally. Independance Day was a buy after I saw the review for PQ and AQ since I personally liked the movie.

I will always wait for reviews from various sites before I purchase a Blu just in case it gets a really really poor transfer like Full Metal Jacket or The Fifth Element did.

Even though my current setup isn't 1080p, I still want it there for when I get a new Tv.

This site is my only site for listening to reviews. im not very open minded.

I use reviews to distinguish the 'blind buys' from the 'rent first, decide after' on some movies. For personal favorites, it doesn't matter-blind buy regardless.

See, I like the film a lot too, but couldnt justify re-buying and upgrading from the 2 disc special edition sd after seeing the review.

The DVD Beaver comparison of the SD and Blu-ray versions of Gattaca convinced me to upgrade.

I did read something from someone who posted that they got it early and absolutely loved the transfer, but better that Rattatouille? That would be unbelievable!!! God I loved that movie, and now with the new review of Hitman, I may get I Robot and give Hitman a Rent first. I didn't see it in the movies so not sure if its any good, but hey I disagreed with the movie review of iD4 so i may like Hitman but without a 5 star PQ rating i'll rent to make sure
