Otis has been pushed back for a October 7th release.

Warner Home Video has pushed back the Blu-ray Disc release of Otis Uncut from June 10 to October 7.

Otis had been announced for Blu-ray and DVD the day after premiering at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Film Conference & Festival on March 7. The aggressive push to get it out on home video in less than a month proved to be not enough time, thus leading to the delay.

Otis is the second Raw Feed title announced for Blu-ray, the first being Sublime. Unlike Sublime, Otis will be released day-and-date with the standard DVD debut.

Otis on Blu-ray will be presented in widescreem 2.35:1 1080p video and Dolby Digital 5.1 audio.

Supplemental features will include a commentary by director Tony Krantz and writer Erik Jendresen; The Twisted World of Otis in which the cast and crew discuss how and why comedy works within the confines of the film; Suite 16, the home movie of Otis; and an alternate ending with introduction by Tony Krantz that gives a starkly different tone and finality to the film.

Warner Home Video have announced the US Blu-ray Disc release of Otis on 7th October 2008 priced at $28.99 SRP. The fourth title in Warner’s “Raw Feed” made for DVD series is a provocative black comedy which chronicles an all-American family’s collision with the dark world of a serial killer. The film was produced and directed by Tony Krantz and written by Thomas Schnauz and Erik Jendresen.

Strangely (for Warner) the Blu-ray Disc looks to offer none of the extras found on the DVD release (which had commentary, featurettes, deleted scenes and trailers). Instead you get a barebones disc with the film presented in 1080P 2.40:1 Widescreen with English 5.1 Dolby TrueHD audio. Additional language options are English 5.1, Spanish 2.0, Portuguese 2.0 and English, French, Spanish, Chinese and Portuguese subtitles.

I like the Cover art for the standard DVD much better, personally. It wears its horror-ness on its sleeve whilst, this new cover looks like a generic thriller. Meh (to cover)

but, I've heard on a couple pod casts that this is a really good horror flick, so I'll be checking it out 'fo 'sho.
