Default Transformers on Bluray? - Check Amazon!

I just searched Amazon for Transformers on bluray...and I got a hit.

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_d/...s=Transformers

Just a few days ago nothing would be returned.

Blades of Glory is also showing up. Don't know if this is new or not. I think it is.

http://www.amazon.com/Blades-Glory-B...4634899&sr=1-3

Good times?

If this is all old news my apologies for creating a new thread.

Amazon has many placeholder listings. Doesn't mean anything has been officially announced yet.

Yep....Had my hopes way too high up for Kill Bill 1 & 2 this month. They were listed on Amazon UK w/a release of March 30 and now they're bumped again to November.

I think it's just Amazon's way of testing interest

I am pretty sure I searched this the other day and got no hits...now I am.

Could be nothing, or they could have reactivated the placeholder.

There are rumors that Paramount is going to make an announcement today - so I found it odd that the placeholder is there now (when I am pretty sure it wasn't a few days ago).

A week ago I spotted Blades of Glory, Top Gun and Face Off.

None of these were ever released on Blu-Ray but now have a listing on amazon.

Face Off

Top Gun

That's the same placeholder that has been there since before it originally launched in October.

Next:

The Jack Ryan Collection:

These are all new product pages. They have been deactivated since Paramount went red.

I guess we have to just wait for the official announcement.

Just like the sales rankings, Amazons listings can be highly inaccurate (not to mention givers of false hope).

I have no doubt that once Paramount has geared up Blu-ray production, that Transformers will be one of their top priorities. As far as I know, the HD DVD is still the top-selling High-Def release from either format.
