Default Terminator 3 Re-Released On BestBuy.com 2/26/08

I saw a listing for a new-release of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines for 2/26/08 which is today. I was wondering if this is the supposed updated re-issue that is supposed to have the movie at 1080p this time instead of the last 1080i release. What do yall think? I mean that makes sense but I haven't seen any buzz about it from any of you about this. Anyone wanna shed some light on it?

I hope so. I've been holding off on buying this. Any way to easily identify re-issue on the packaging?

Well this is gonna sound really stupid because I've been posting here for many months right now and yall teach me little by little very slowly, but I gotta ask..... How easy is it to tell if the movie is 1080p or 1080i on a TV like mine? It's the one listed in my signature. My eyes are not that great but I can tell a crisp picture. Just not the significant 1080i as opposed to 1080p picture like so many of you pride yourselves in being able to tell on your own so dont tell me to, "Just look at it." Let me know

I believe your PS3 should be able to tell you what specs on the video are. Try pressing triangle during playback?

Triangle won't do it. You have to press the Select button during any video playing.

No, the PS3 don't tell you what the resolution your TV is displaying when the movie is playing. But your TV should. Try looking for a "display" button on your tv's remote.

There is no difference.

I've only read that it matters if your screen is 50 inches or bigger. Even then, I've read that there's still no difference.

There are a lot of "purists" out there.
