Default 'Sharkwater' -- pre-release buzz

In their first announcement since going Blu-ray exclusive, National Geographic is bringing 'Sharkwater' to high-def:

The 89-minute documentary comes with 1080p video and English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround and subtitles.

Extras include a bonus featurette.

Street date is April 8, and retail $29.99.

Most excellent having NatGeo's quality product on Blu-ray exclusively.

This looks good. I'll look into this one for sure. I hope the PQ is right up there.

$29.99 for another release where the only thing hi-def about it is the image? Given that it is National Geographic, I'm sure it will be great, but am I the only one that finds it interesting that so many "hi-def" releases only have English Dolby Digital 5.1 sound tracks?

its not a movie that needs or would benefit from lossless audio. There are lots of great underwater shots thou, and its an interesting and important topic.

I'm going to predict a $17.95-19.95 price tag through Amazon, and if your Prime, the better.
