Default No Country And Juno Up for best picture!

Any one else pysched to get these on blu-ray like I am?
My two favorite movies of the year.
Also Michael Clayton, Atonement and There Will Be Blood got nominated (hopefully by the time blood is released it'll be on blu too!)

Can't wait to see these movies in HD, I am personally looking forward to No Country for Old Men the most. Was Atonement any good?

My top 3 movies of 2007 were (sans SAW IV, to avoid bias):

1. Ratatouille
2. Sunshine
3. Rescue Dawn

I have yet to see There Will Be Blood, No Country for Old Men, and Atonement, though.

Really disappointing that Zodiac didn't get the nod for anything. It was just released too early in the year I think. It was probably my favorite of the year, followed by Juno, then Sweeney Todd, then No Country.

Sweeney Todd was my favorite movie of 2007 by far. I hope Warner will put out a region free import of it.

My top 3 best films of the year:
1) Smokin' Aces (I'm not even joking)
2) Sunshine
3) Reign Over Me (also the year's best performance by Don Cheadle)

Just looked at the whole list now of all the nominees. A lot of the same movies kept getting nominated...surprise. I won't be watching this year. Bourne Ultimatum deserves all it's nominations though. They gotta start nominating more stuff, especially films that really deserve it more than the ones that they got nominated right now.

Awesome. I've been trying to bulk up my my BR library but most of the titles out there don't interest me. I couldn't care less about Pirates or Fantastic Four. But Oscar worthy gems like NCFOM and Juno I'll snap up without hesitation.
