Question LOST Season 2 Indirectly Announced???

I got the above image from another forum that I often visit. It was posted last week and the URL logo featured in the image at the bottom right (KHCW.com) is for the Houston, Texas CW 39 affiliate website.

I did a quick search of their site, but couldn't turn up any news stories relating to blu-ray, Lost or CES.

Anyway, as you can see, the green box is clearly Season 3, but what is up with the orange box in front of it? The "Season Number" at the bottom-center of the cover could easily be either a "2" or "3", but its hard to tell since its cut off at the middle...

Anyone have any idea the sales numbers the third season did on Bluray?

I would probably buy Season 2, but I would buy Season 1 in a heartbeat

If they release 1 and 2 then i would consider picking up all 3. I won't buy or even watch 3 without 1 and 2 though.

I wouldn't buy either season again, I wouldn't watch them again. I'd rather just have all future TV releases in high def, not the past, at least shows that you need to watch in order to fully enjoy. I assume we will see Lost season 4, Desperate Housewives, Ugly Betty, and Brothers And Sisters on Blu-ray from ABC this winter.

why do studios put out the latest seasons on high def, but seemingly forget about the preceeding ones? Don't they realize that people like having things in sets?

Not many imo. If they bought Lost Season 3, chances are they already bought the previous 2 on DVD that probably wouldn't rebuy.

Thats just it though, having a collection that is 2 parts sddvd and 1 part blu-ray just isn't very consistant, and is very un-aesthetic.
