Default Lionsgate is my new favorite studio

Their last two releases, War and 3:10 to Yuma are excellent discs. Both boast excellent PQ and superb AQ with 7.1 PCM uncompressed. Plus, they took the time to do extras in HD including behind the scenes featurettes and 3:10 has some historical documentaries which are interesting and informative. The trivia track on War was very well done (the guy who edited it posts on AVS and I commended him)
Way to go, Lionsgate. You have earned a blind buy purchaser for your future releases.

SAW IV looks to continue the streak with some unique features and great audio (7.1 DTS HD Master Audio).

War sucked as a movie, dont know about the disk. It had a good cast but horrible editing, directing and a confusing story.

otherwise, I will get 3:10 to Yuma for sure,

New line is also the studio that will eventually bring out lord of the rings. if they keep up on their quality it could be one of the best releases on HD

Edit - Oh yeah, I'm stupid.

Anyway, the UPS guy dropped off my copy of 3:10 to Yuma today, guess I'll watch it tonight.

Sounds like a few people here are mixing up Lionsgate and New Line, two separate studios that have nothing to do with each other.

Jason's right. Some are talking about LOTR, which is New Line.
I was speaking of Lionsgate.
