Default 28 Days/Weeks Later

i liked these 2 movies and see amazon has BOG with them
now i've read reviews of video quality, has anyone seen them? is it even worth the $40 to get them in HD (i'm in canada so it'll be $10 shipping equals $39 for both, when each one retails for $34.99) good price but is the picture quality worth it? when i can get it previewed on SD for $6.99 at blockbuster

28 weeks is worth getting as the picture and movie are both good. 28 days on the other hand, while being one of my favorite horror films, looks horrid and gave me a headache watching on BD so I would avoid that one.

28 Days Later was shot on like SD 480 line digital, so the picture quality will be bad. 28 Weeks should be OK though.

I've heard the dvd of 28 days looks better because of the way it was shot. 28 weeks apparently looks good.

Amazing movies. I have them both on Blu-ray and would recommend them at that price. I paid full price ($28 US) for them each.

If its poor PQ like in the case of 28 Days Later then he should pick up another movie with the BOGO and buy the DVD.

The dvd costs 9.99
The blu-ray costs 27.99

You'd be a fool to NOT take PQ into account in this case, since it's identical (I've done a side by side test. With the exception of the last minute of the movie, the entire movie looks exactly the same).

The only positive thing I can think of that 28 Days Later has going for it is the upgraded audio quality. There really isn't much reason to buy it on Blu-Ray at the moment. I'm going to pick it up when it is about 10 bucks because I don't buy DVD's anymore.

28 Days Later is one of those movies that had no business making its way into HDM... I would avoid this title at all costs unless you're a huge fan of it and don't mind wasting your money...
