Default The movie 300 looks terrible on my blu-ray

I was wondering if anyone has the Panasonic Blu-Ray DMP-BD30k and has played the movie 300 on it yet? It looked crappy, it looked like there was sand all over the place. Has anyone seen this too? Let me know.

Its the crap known as 'directors intent.' You're not the only one that thinks this movie looks like garbage.

Everyone did, the director wanted it there.

It is supposed to have the grain look to it. The director intended it to look that way.

or as Peter Bracke said in the blu ray review "so much video noise that it seems like a swarm of mosquitoes has infested your television"

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO OMG!!
yeah that's called "grain"
btw: this movie looks amazing on my hd crt. lots of 3-d looking shots especially when she's walking with the temple like building in the background. That shot looks the best imo.

It was shot in pure digital and the director added artificial grain to the picture, so it does look kind of odd. It still has that sharp, clear high def look though compared to the DVD version.
