Default Where is Blood Diamond in HD?

Ok, Blood Diamond is one of my favorite movies, ever since I watched it last month.

Warner has annoucned the standard DVD versions of the movie a couple weeks, but there was no sign of HD(Blu-Ray and HD-DVD) versions.

Anyone know anything about the movie possibly coming to Blu-Ray? Have they even said ANYTHING about a High-Def version of Blood Diamond.

Thanks.

PS:

Here's the cover art for the DVD versions, in case you haven't seen it:

1-Disc Edition

2-Disc Edition

*This is what I made in Photoshop in 5 minutes, I think it looks pretty cool.:P*

I can confirm that, but I can't post links yet. See signature and the news is half way down the first page.

first i wanna say.. RELAX.. i just saw blood diamond in theaters last week! LOL!

loved the movie.
on the Playstation Store, you can get the 1080p trailer if you have a ps3.. it looks FANTASTIC .. the transfer that is.. very high quality very detailed.. from large landscapes to sweat on foreheads.. this one will be huge..
no idea on release dates.. but i didn't check to see if it was at the end of the trailer. anyways.. it's comin out..
hate to sound like such a fan boy.. but seriously..
i want more big titles like that to go blu ray exclusive.. i really really don't want this to end in a tie.. and i'm completely baffled that there is even a format war..
how i see it..
with digital content using the same codecs (as of now.. blu ray and hddvd are using avc-1, although most old blu ray titles seem to be mpeg-2).. anyways
if they are using the same codecs.. how could the larger capacity format not be the obvious decision? the only answer i can come up w/ is DRM.. but honesty.. 30GB versus 50GB.. thats' 20GB.. .. ... that's more than 2 entire DVDS difference that they can use to fill the disk instead of compress.. less compression = closer quality comparison to the original source.. so why is a 30GB disk being such a good competitor... don't even tell me it's the XBOX 360.. becuase man.. oh MAN.. would i feel like a moron buying a usb drive for my console.. then outputting 1080p using composite cables.. big mistake.. xbox v2 will come out.. but that's just straight up BS on MS's side... 'how about we sell 10 million units.. THEN completely change our product to support a hi def connection that none of the 10 million purchasers can upgrade to!' seriously.. where does that leave consumers when MS just basically tells them to buy another one.. not to mention everyone's 360 has broken at least once.. i know a guy who's on his 4th one.. IN 2 YEARS...

babble is done.. what a weird place to complain..

Well, it's 11 days before Blood Diamond comes out on DVD, and Warner still hasn't announced a Blu-Ray version...

What's going on, this movie is a must have for me. It should be day-and-date with the DVD.
