Default Die Hard 4: Unrated vs. Rated

So I watched Die Hard 4 Live Free or Die Hard last night and on DVD and Im going to make a "back-up" of it and the play times for both versions are 2:08:26 and 2:08:32, I assume the one with 6 more seconds on it is the unrated version. So there isnt really a difference between the one realesed in the theather and the unrated one? I'm at a loss.

For the most part, I just noticed more language, and the language was included with scenes already in the film, except not silenced out.

the foul language was added later at times when you don't see the character's mouth also with the digital bloods splats. i think that's a very stupid decision: the unrated film just looks like 300 with these cartoon-like blood clouds.

Funny I don't see no one complain about the digital blood in the Bourne movies, or the digital bullet impacts, or the digital window when he leaps from a building in Tanger and crashes through... I guess Universal SFX team is more skilled than Fox. Most movies use digital fx for what used to be live fx these days, including bullets holes, smoke etc, it's cheaper and make the on set shooting happen faster without using tons of wardrobe
