Default Just when Disney was getting it right with the covers (NOT 1080i thing)

OK, I could care less about the 1080i thing on the POTC disc to be frank. It's just more FUD ammo for HD DVD fanboys as far as I'm concerned. But what I'm about to show here bugs the HELL out of me.

Just as I became very impressed by Disney after they stopped doing those annoying "swooshes" on their box art with the Pixar discs onward, I buy my POTC:AWE BD today, knowing about the 1080i thing and not caring, and I take it home and out of the slipcase. WTF is this crap Disney?

A Bilingual English/French cover for US release? I bought this from the Fry's in Burbank, CA, a stone's throw away from Walt Disney Studios itself. I understand that they do covers like this for Canadian release, but for me to buy this in the US of A and have the covers be a bilingual mess just makes the case look ugly as all hell. Does everyone's POTC3 case look like this or did I just get a bad one meant for Canada?

Lmao, I didn't even notice at first. I thought you were pointing out the rainbow reflections until I read the stuff at the end.

But yeah, that's BS. I won't get mine until it arrives from Amazon, and I hope it's not like that.

I have the Canadian version and the only French present is this sticker on the slipcase.

Looks like you got the Kweebeck version.

Damn Quebecers with their french language demands. Looks like I'm taking this back to Fry's and demanding a non-french cover copy.

How did these french cover things get to burbank, ca?

Yup... bought mine in Canada but the only French I got is a sticker that says (Version francaise incluse).

I agree, I don't like the FRENCH translation thing messing up the cover art. That's why I like buying the version US sometimes.

You OBVIOUSLY got a bad case. Do you seriously think Disney would do that for US versions?

Thought the "HD DVD fanboys" comment was unnecessary, but my god! Thanks for posting this. What an abomination!!

They don't do that for the US version. I am from miami, I do speak spanish and I don't want to see any s**** like that in the cover art.

Los Piratas del Caribe: AL fin del Mundo (Translation to Spanish) No way.
