Default Live Free... digital copy on SD; Blu-ray eventually?

As I was contemplating buying the SD version for "Uncut" action, I noticed that Fox included a digital copy of the movie on their SD discs. It was Windows Media Fairplay restricted to a single computer (useful for my Intel MacBook thankfully), but I thought it was a great way to offer a workaround to a key sticking point, creating a portable file for viewing away from the living room player.

As BD drives get introduced to computers, do you think we'll see Fox roll that tech onto BDs? Hell, I'd love an SD copy for portable viewing (I'm already catching a little grief from the wife because my recent purchases "only play in the living room."

I'd prefer an iTunes "unlock code" scheme as I'm a Mac head, but think it's a real next gen offering that could stave off the trends toward media downloading.

What say ye? Ack, Grubert, Kid Banana, Balian???

harry potter and the order of the pheonix has this as well. DVD and HD DVD owners will be able to take advantage as it is a combo. It took a while to get it on DVD, so blu-ray probably in the next couple years if at all.

The Harry Potter combo disc has it, but can it be played only on the computer or can it be put on portable players?

I'm pretty sure it's only for a single computer/laptop. That's portable enough for me as I can't really enjoy a movie on a tiny screen and don't have the wide iPod.

I didn't know that HP had this feature. I might check it out for that one disc.
