How is the video quality of the first 3???

Well from what I've heard, they are improved over the DVD versions but still not that good.

All are improvements, but the gap between the SD and Blu-Ray improves further with each installment. 'Die Hard With a Vengeance' in particular is a VAST improvement over the previous 2-disc SE. Noise reduction and harsh, EE afflicted edges are either completely absent or greatly diminished. There is a layer of film grain (not noise), but that just means the detail hasn't been scrubbed out of the image like so many times before.

I'm quite happy with all of them.
