Default 28 Days Later vs. 28 Weeks Later

I am looking to buy one of these titles. Which is better, 28 Days Later, 28 Weeks Later, or both the same?

Both are good. You can get them both of Frys.com for 13.99 a piece.

28 Days Later is a much better movie but because of the way it was shot (on DV cams) it wont look anywhere near high def. I would recommend buying it on SD DVD and if you still wanted one in high def to buy 28 Weeks Later.

I concur as well. W/ the fox rip-rate for blu-rays, for a movie with not much pq improvement, and a pretty solid dvd that is cheap anyways, go Days dvd, Weeks blu.

Personally, I found Days better for it's similarities to Day of the Dead, where the zombies may be "frightful" but the humans are the creatures to fear. Weeks compounded on that, but the set up was there from the beginning, between the menu of the blu-ray and the opening scenes on the building tops, I knew what was coming.

Well 28 Days Later did feel more of a survival film while Weeks felt like an action film. But if your comparing the disks (BD) then 28 Weeks Later for sure! I heard 28 Days Later has a horrible picture quality

I believe it was DVD Town that gave it a 3 out of 10 for picture quality.

I couldn't stand the 1st one... the only nudity in the damn movie had to be a dude? C'mon. And what was with that fun-filled romp through the supermarket?

Based on that I haven't seen the 2nd one.

Absolutely. I own both, Days is 10 times the movie Weeks is, but the picture quality of Days is atrocious.
