Default 'Sister Street Fighter' Double Feature -- pre-release buzz

BCI has a new double feature disc on the way for 'Sister Street Fighter' fans:

http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/sist...ighter_df.html

It hits January 8, 2008, and will include 'Sister Street Fighter' and 'Sister Street Fighter 2.'

No tech specs or supplemental details are available yet, though the standard-def DVD didn't have much in the way extras, so it's not likely the Blu-ray will, either.

Retail price is a affordable $22.98.

I doubt the transfer in 1080p will look any good because it is an old movie but you never know. I'd prefer a Street Fighter collection with Sonny Chiba instead.

If it was filmed to 35mm film then it should be OK. Robin Hood looked nice on HD DVD and it's from 1938!

I'm actually thinking of getting these... the price is pretty good and it's a double feature. Also, I love old kung-fu movies

The print that was used on the DVD release looked really good. Ronin Entertainment are releasing Killing Machine & Shogun's Ninja Double Feature on Blu-ray as well.

I'm excited about these releases and will likely buy them day and date - but I've never seen any of the four films. For those who have, how are they? How do they compare to things like the Bruce Lee films or Wu-Tang pictures like Mystery of Chess Boxing?
